 W\n\nAs a country sharing only one land border\, Wales is surrounded by so
 me of the best and most popular national and international coastal regions
 \, nature reserves and tourist destinations. With an 870-mile coastal path
 \, numerous bays and beaches\, an extensive\, interlaced waterways network
  and communities dependent on trade and tourism\, transport was and remain
 s an intrinsic part of Wales’ development leaving distinctive marks on i
 ts shores and seas.\n\nTransport for Wales (TfW) aspires to be Wales’ fa
 vourite way to travel\, creating one network\, one timetable\, one ticket\
 , and one team as its mission\, helping people travel in ways that are goo
 d for the planet\, good for the pocket and good for real life. TfW was set
  up as a not-for-profit organisation by the Welsh Government to change the
  way Wales travels\, setting the trajectory of transformation from rail\, 
 bus and active travel.\n\nAs a named public body under the Well-being of F
 uture Generations (Wales) Act\, TfW are driving to improve the economic\, 
 social\, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales. TfW are transform
 ing the transport network so that it becomes truly sustainable and fit for
  future generations as Wales continues to propel itself through innovation
 \, sustainable development and global responsibility.\n\nUsing a series of
  spotlight focuses on Wales’ coastal regions through the lens of social 
 impact\, heritage to climate change and energy\, this webinar will explore
  transport\, sustainability and well-being in the context of transformatio
 n. It will also demonstrate how transport transformation both historically
  and today – and for the future – can influence learnings and changes 
 in the local\, national and global arenas.\n\nDr Louise Moon is Technical 
 Lead – Heritage\, Legacy and Sustainable Impact at TfW. With over 20 yea
 rs’ experience in museums\, national parks and the third sector\, Louise
  leads a team looking after the past\, present and future from heritage to
  impact and future generations to legacy. A specialist in 19th-century ind
 ustrial heritage and social and cultural history\, Louise is also an Assoc
 iate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the Global Research Centre
  for Port Cities and Maritime Cultures. \n\nRhyann Milne is a Chartered E
 nvironmentalist with over 18 years’ experience tackling climate change\,
  sustainability and energy challenges across sectors – from manufacturin
 g and construction to public service. As Strategic Lead for Climate Change
 \, Energy and Environment at TfW\, she combines deep technical expertise w
 ith a passion for behaviour change to drive practical\, impactful solution
 s. Rhyann’s focus is on making climate resilience relatable and achievab
